Budget Adjustments

PCOM students with additional financial need can work with the Financial Aid Office to see if they are eligible for a budget adjustment. If a student's financial aid resources are not met by items that are already part of their cost of attendance (COA), they can request additional funds above their maximum COA through a review process.

Special Circumstance Review

Complete the to initiate a review of the elements in your cost of attendance. Special circumstances may include but are not limited to:

• Computer purchase
• Rotation or residency interview travel costs
• USMLE exam costs
• Test preparation materials
• Living expenses above the standard amount
• Out of pocket medical expenses
• Childcare costs
• Health insurance costs
